We have decided to call it hazelnut cream because it is made with nothing but grounded nuts (hazelnut cream, 100% nuts). We do not add any vegetable oils, sugars or sweeteners, salt, flavourings, emulsifiers or additives. On the contrary, the hazelnut butter commonly found on sale often contains sugar, emulsifiers, that are added to hazelnuts.
History
The hazelnuts, which come exclusively from the hazelnut groves of Lazio, are harvested and carefully roasted. Visually, the creamy texture is striking and the unmistakable scent and persistent flavour of roasted hazelnuts is immediately apparent.
