The Italian pine nut cream is ideal:

• as a spread on toast;
• as in ingredient in sweet recipes (pancakes, crepes and ice cream).

Any stratification of the oil is natural and does not affect the goodness of the product. The phase separation between the oily and dry phases of the product, which usually occurs a few weeks after packaging, is a perfectly natural behaviour. It proves that no thickeners have been used. By simply stirring the product for a few seconds, a soft, silky cream is once again obtained.
