In order to get organic certification, the main requirements organic products must meet are the preservation of biodiversity and the quality of soils, as well as a limited use of non-natural substances. The competent body providing organic certification carries out frequent inspections, in order to make sure that the requirements provided in the regulations on organic farming (Regulation (EC) No. 8 848/2018) are met, thus guaranteeing that the certification is valid.
This one is a 100% organic mixed nut cream. Here’s why we don’t call it an organic mixed nut butter.
Mixed nut butter, mixed nut spread, mixed nut butter 100% nuts and many others. A plethora of names can be found on food labels while browsing the aisles of grocery stores or shopping online. This can be very confusing for customers and that’s why we, the nut experts, want to make the situation clearer. We have decided to call it organic mixed nut cream because it is made with nothing but grounded nuts. We do not add any vegetable oils, sugars or sweeteners, salt, flavourings, emulsifiers nor additives.
Uses
Any oil separation is natural and does not affect the quality of the product. The phase separation between oil and solids, that generally occurs a few weeks after packaging, is completely natural and proves that no emulsifiers have been used. Simply stir the product for a few seconds - making sure to reach the bottom of the jar - to get a silky, smooth cream.
