Ingredients for 4 people:
12 pears of little dimensions
70g of Aronia berries
80g of sugar
80g of white tea
1 lemon
Method:
Peel the pears without removing the petiole and wash them under running water. Put them aside in water and lemon.
Pour sugar and Aronia berries in a saucepan, add tea and boil. Add the pears and continue cooking for about 20 minutes on a low heat, turning the pears from time to time.
Remove the pears from the saucepan and place them in little dessert bowls. Continue cooking the Aronia berries caramel for a few minutes until it thickens.
Serve the pears with two tablespoons of hot Aronia berries caramel. This dessert may be accompanied with a scoop of vanilla or fiordilatte ice cream.
