Product Fennel


Fennel belongs to the Umbelliferae family, like carrots, celery, and parsley. It consists of a white or pale green bulb with stems crowned by feathery leaves, acanthus to which grow the flowers that produce the fennel seeds. Bulbs, stems, leaves and seeds are edible.

The aromatic taste of fennel is similar to that of liquorice and aniseed.
